Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actor Kim Seon-Ho is making a steady comeback after being cleared from his scandal. Due to KDramaPharma’s core values, the scandal is not something the site will extensively cover. SALT Entertainment already responded. Though the actor officially left 2 Days & 1 Night, his fans and other Korean netizens opposed to the idea of #cancelculture continue the campaign. So far, the campaign demanding KBS to keep Kim Seon-Ho garnered more than 20,000 signatures. 

Kim Seon-Ho publicly apologized for the matter and remained private. Dispatch, often seen as anti-idol, cleared his name with an extensive number of friends and even ex-friends moving forward with testimonies. There are reports that the actor is currently in the hospital and in no condition to defend himself. 

Fans may now rejoice as two brands reuploaded ads with Kim Seon-Ho. Brands Miima Mask and Canon Korea resumed their campaigns featuring Kim Seon-Ho on YouTube. 

Miima Mask’s CEO Kim Hee-Seong told Korean news outlet EDaily that the company took down the advertisement as a sign of taking a neutral position. They waited for the agency’s position before taking down the ad. The CEO also applauded the actor’s courage in humbly admitting his mistakes and reflecting. The matter was also personal and did not deserve to be publicized. 

The decision to resume the advertisement is a loss to the brand, but the CEO has no intentions of terminating the contract. CEO Kim personally feels sorry for Kim Seon-Ho, and seeing his sincerity while filming the advertisement strengthened his resolve.
